VOCal – Software for GC-IMS Data

VOCal comprises a versatile set of features for quantitative data evaluation and method development same as tools that support compound identification. By that it merges functionalities of the former LAV- and GC-IMS Library Search and contains new visualization and evaluation strategies.

New FlavourSpec®25: Remote Control of PAL3 Headspace sampler and instrument

G.A.S. learnt that laboratory personnel prefer using a remote/PC-control (instead of a handheld). QC-related routines further require full traceability of samples, applied methods and measurement files. The new PC-run ‘PAL Control‘ tool realized in the FlavourSpec®25 respects these operators‘ preference and QC-requirements

Firmware 4.6: Elevated temperatures in FlavourSpec®25 allow to test for semi-volatiles

Technical developments and extension of application fields of firm- and hardware in FlavourSpec25® could be achieved. These enable to test semi-volatile compounds with Retention Indices (RI) of 1600 and beyond by raising temperatures of key parameters as injector (200°C), GC and IMS (100°C) .
