Using the A-IMS measurement results are obtained within seconds while detection limits in the ppbv- or even pptv-range can be achieved. The modular concept and accessibility of parameters allows it to configure and fine-tune the A-IMS according to the specific analytical application. The availability of different sample inlets (direct inlet, membrane inlet system or electrical six-port-valve with sample loop), a manual or automatic operation modes as well as the easy in use data acquisition, -analysis, and visualization software LAV describe the flexibility and make up the usefulness of the A-IMS as analytical tool.
