SF6-IR-Monitor

The SF6-IR-Monitor controls the maximum allowable concentration (MAC) of SF6 in ambient air (1,000 ppmv in Europe) in gas insulated indoor substations. Based on the physical principal of infrared spectroscopy the SF6-IR-Monitor does not show any cross sensitivities due to moisture or volatile organic compounds. Furthermore the SF6-IR-Monitor is characterised by an exceptional sensitivity and convenience in use. These features make it an ideal tool to assure working place safety and to prevent SF6 emissions that are harmful to the environment.
